I’m frequently contacted by constituents about the A500 Audley slip road, where it crosses Alsagers Road. People have raised serious concerns about accidents, near-misses, and confusion at the junction – especially when drivers come off the A500 and attempt to cross Alsagers Road to rejoin it.

It’s clear that this layout isn’t working for local residents, drivers, or pedestrians – and it’s putting lives at risk.

That’s why I’m launching this short survey and petition to gather your experiences and views. I’ll be writing to Staffordshire County Council and National Highways to demand urgent action, but I want to make sure they hear directly from local people too.
