SURVEY: PROTECTING YOUNG PEOPLE ONLINE

There is growing public and government concern about the impact of social media and fast-moving digital technologies on the safety, wellbeing and mental health of children and young people.

The Government has recently announced further action to strengthen online safety protections and is seeking views from parents, young people and residents on the best way to protect children online. This includes whether there should be restrictions on social media use for people under 16, and whether additional safety measures should be introduced.

Your views will help inform my work as your Member of Parliament and contribute to the wider national conversation about online safety.
