THE PADDOCKS (WILMOT DRIVE ESTATE) – LOCAL RESIDENTS’ SURVEY

I’ve been speaking to residents and working with Cross Heath ward councillor Cllr John Williams to address issues at The Paddocks (Wilmot Drive Estate) in Newcastle-under-Lyme.

In parts of the estate – particularly in areas of older housing and where the older housing meets the new – the roads and pavements have been left in poor condition. Surfaces are uneven or potholed, kerbs are raised to a hazardous height, and some of the fencing and street furniture around trees are in a poor state of repair.

These problems make it harder for people to get around safely and give parts of the estate an unfinished or neglected feel.

I want to hear directly from you about what needs to be done to put things right. Please take a few minutes to complete this short survey – your feedback will help push the council and the developer to take action.
