The Little Vic Crowned Newcastle-under-Lyme's Best Pub 2025

On Friday, I had the great pleasure of visiting The Victoria – known to so many of us as The Little Vic – to present Julie, Sarah, and their fantastic team with the award for Newcastle-under-Lyme's Best Pub 2025.
Earlier this year, I launched my Newcastle-under-Lyme's Best Pub 2025 competition to shine a light on our brilliant local pubs. These are the places that bring people together, support local jobs, and are so often at the heart of our communities. From May, residents across the constituency were invited to nominate and vote for their favourite pub – and the response was incredible, with nominations pouring in from every corner of Newcastle-under-Lyme.
In the end, The Little Vic topped the poll, receiving more nominations and votes than any other pub.
The nominations speak for themselves:

“A great, community-driven pub.”
These comments really capture what makes The Little Vic so special – a place where everyone feels welcome and part of something bigger.
Huge congratulations to Julie, Sarah, and the whole team on this well-deserved recognition. And a big thank you to everyone who nominated and voted to make this competition such a success.
Our pubs are about so much more than serving a good pint – they are spaces where friendships are formed, stories are shared, and communities are strengthened.
