Betley Coffee Morning: Catching Up with Residents

ree

Earlier this week, I was delighted to host a coffee morning at Betley Village Hall, bringing local people together over a cuppa and a slice of cake. It was wonderful to see so many of you there and to have the chance to listen to your thoughts, ideas, and concerns.

As your Member of Parliament, I want to make sure I’m spending the Summer Recess out and about across Newcastle-under-Lyme, meeting people face-to-face and hearing directly from you. This kind of event is exactly what helps me hit the ground running when Parliament returns in over a week's time.

I’m very grateful to everyone who took the time to attend, and I left the morning encouraged by the conversations we had. Thank you as well to the Mayor of Newcastle-under-Lyme, Councillor Bettley-Smith, for joining us and for his warm hospitality.

My priority is – and always will be – to get things done for our community. If there is ever anything I can do to help, on issues big or small, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with me and my office.

It was also useful to hear about the new battery recycling scheme set up by the Parish Council, which is already making a difference locally.

Thank you again to all who came along – and I look forward to more events like this in the months ahead.
