The Chancellor, John Healey, delivered the Budget last Wednesday (28 October 2026), and the debate continued in the House of Commons until Tuesday (4 November 2026).
During my speech on Thursday (29 October 2026), I set out the issues that matter most to people across Newcastle-under-Lyme and highlighted the importance of ensuring the Government's plans deliver for working people, families and communities.
